French Coconut Pie

Combine

1 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut

1/2 buttermilk

1 teaspoon vanilla

***Let sit to hydrate***

Add Together

1 cup sugar

8 tablespoons melted butter

2 eggs plus 1 yoke

2 tablespoons flour

salt (I’m guessing a pinch of salt?)

She didn’t mention this in the recipe, but I assume you’ll need a pastry shell to dump this stuff in??

Stir and add coconut mixture. Pour into pastry shell (I think). Bake at 325 degrees for 55 minutes or until top is golden brown. Good luck!
