Dump Cookies
1/2 cup white granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup margarine or butter
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 cups ANYTHING! - Mom’s (a.k.a Janet’s) go-tos were: 1) 1/2 cup raisins, 1/2 cup oats, & 1/2 cup shredded coconut, or 2) 1/2 cup chocolate chips, 1/2 cup chow mein noodles, & 1/2 cup shredded coconut. But you do you!
Mix the sugars, butter, egg, and vanilla in a large bowl.
Mix the flour, baking soda, and baking powder together and combine with the wet ingredients.
Dump in whatever else and spoon some cookie sized dough pieces onto a greased or parchment papered sheet. I’m not sure how big and how many on the sheet, but use your best judgement (she didn’t specify on her little note card). Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes.
